Rental Terms
1. “Company” is Mayak Studio CO. L.L.C, “Premises” includes the studio and all the property owned by Mayak Studio CO. L.L.C, “Hirer” is the person or entity renting the premises or equipment.
Prices
1. Rental Prices are set by the most current version of the rental rate sheet in effect at the time of signing.
Payment terms
1. 100% payment (cash or card) upon confirmation. Payments for additional equipment rental and/or time that were not billed during the initial booking will be due at the end of the rental period.
Studio rules
1. Minimum booking time for studio 280 is 5 hours. Minimum booking time for studio 120 is 3 hours.
2. The Hirer is allowed to enter the studio at the beginning of his booking.
3. The hirer is responsible for studio lightning set up and tear down.
4. The Hirer must leave the studio in the same condition as it was before his booking.
5. No smoking in the studio.
6. The Hirer must inform Mayak Studio’s staff before using fog machine.
7. No one will be admitted who is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
8. Studios 280 and 120 are not fully soundproof, so the music and any noise should be at the reasonable volume.
9. If the noise becomes too loud, we will ask you to turn it down.
10. No adult or pornographic photo and video shoots. Our studio cannot be used to shoot such content.
11. The hirer shall be solely responsible for the conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying hirer while on company’s premises.
12. The hirer agrees that company representative will be present at all times. If the representative observes or otherwise becomes aware of dangerous, pornographic, illegal or negligent practices or activities, the representative reserves the right to stop the shoot and may require renter and renter’s party to leave immediately. In such case no refund will be given for unused time. However, company and its representatives assume no responsibility to act in such cases.
Booking time
1. Booking time is pre-arranged at the time of booking. Booking time begins promptly at the prescribed starting time and ends promptly at the prescribed ending time, regardless if the hirer or his party are late. Any hirer that goes 15 minutes past the original end time of their booking will be charged as the additional hour. Booking time includes set up and tear down. Studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the booking period.
Damage
1. The hirer is responsible for any damage to company’s property or equipment that occurs during the time renter or his party occupies the premises. Damage deposit will be held until repairs can be made. If damage exceeds amount of damage deposit, the hirer agrees to pay reasonable additional repair costs to bring damage equipment back to working condition. The hirer agrees to pay for damage to the premises including spills, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture, equipment and makeup station.
Cleaning
1. The hirer agrees to leave premises and all contents in the same condition as they were when hirer arrived. Company staff will dispose of trash collected in the supplied trash cans. The hirer must discard larger items, such as props and set pieces, in the public trash bin outside the building. Disposal of large amounts of garbage due to large sets may also accrue additional cost. Additional fees may apply.
Waiver of liability
1. Use of company’s premises and equipment is at renter’s risk. Renter hereby agrees that company will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage, injury or loss to renter, his party or possessions while on the premises. All persons and activity on company’s premises may be video recorded for security usage.
Cyclorama cleaning
1. We provide a white clean cyclorama before each booking period, the hirer will pay for cyclorama repainting if the cyclorama will get dirty during his booking time.
Cancellation and Reschedules
1. Cancellation of confirmed bookings will result in the following.
96 hours or more:
Confirmed booking that is cancelled more than 72 hours prior to the booking date and time of will incur no charges and all payments will be refunded in full.
Less than 96 hours, but more than 48 hours:
Confirmed booking that is cancelled less than 72 hours, but more than 72 hours prior to the booking date and time will incur a 50% refund.
48 hours or less:
No refund for any cancellation made less than 48 hours prior to the booking date and time.
If the company must cancel the hirer’s reservation, hirer will be given, in company’s sole discretion, either rescheduling priority or 100% refund. Company is not liable for acts out of its control that affect the shoot, such as building equipment failures, power outages, weather, outside noises or other emergencies.
There is no rescheduling fee with at least 48-hour notice. A rescheduling fee will apply if notice is less then 48-hours. Reschedule fee is 50% of the deposit amount and will be applied to final balance. Rescheduling can be made only once. Second rescheduling is not possible and there will be no refund for it.
